My September Moodboard

Back to monthly mood boarding after the August. This series is one of the themes I like best. First, because they get me work with my hands. Then researching beautiful imagery and finding out where my mood goes to this time is just really nice.

The advantage here is I just go with the flow whereas when working for clients mood boards have to be very structured and tailor-made. So, guess what…I am back to blues (I have a knack for the moody ones) but combined with naturals here. It’s a mix of late summer feeling, indigo and denim go together but pair up with warmer fall alike textures, minerals and artisan images. I hope you like it, it’s totally my vibe now!

  1. Beautiful as always. You are the moodboard queen :-) I love the blue trend but unfortunately my home is already moody due to the little light that comes in, so I can’t use any more dark furniture or accessoies. If I had a light-filled home I would definitely embrace the colour

    1. Same here, Louise. I love to have light in my home but then whenever I am mood boarding I am immediately drawn to moodier color palettes and in particular blues. Can’t help it:-) x

  3. Gorgeous Gudy! I agree, mood boarding for yourself is just the best, most creative thing. I find it so relaxing. Lovely as always! Have a wonderful MTB. Sorry I can’t join you-Barcelona is one of my most favourite cities. I will be in Amsterdam though! Cxx

    1. Have a good time in Amsterdam, Carolina, I can’t make it but wish you a very creative stay! Say hello to all common friends. Big hug!
