The Scandinavian Design is famous for its distinctive style and so is My Scandinavian Home, the renown interior design blog run by Niki Brantmark who was inspired by her move to Sweden from London over then years ago.
Niki has recently launched her second book The Scandinavian Home and since I was fortunate enough to meet her in real life a year and a half ago in London during a blog award ceremony, I knew it had to be excellent work.
When browsing through the chapters, however I realized, this book was exceeding expectations. Organized into three chapters, URBAN LIVING, COUNTRY HOMES and RURAL RETREATS, The Scandinavian Home covers different styles, but all curated carefully within the pared-back simple Scandinavian look&feel featuring homes and images not seen to date by having been pinned countless times.
I find it interesting to see a few eclectic twists and have the impression the book features a slightly different Scandi Style we often have in mind.
Instead, Niki guides you through very different homes, many located in breathtaking nature surroundings and filled with layers of textures and travel memories, where easing the stress and enjoying the great outdoors is key.
You will not only find monochromatic color palettes but actually see a few bold upholstered furniture pieces and moody atmospheres too.
This is what you need to do if you’d like to receive a copy of The Scandinavian Home with 173 pages packed with minimal, bohemian, dramatic, soft and slow-pace interiors:
