I just had to try out this fab tutorial from Vintage Revivals and I have to say it’s a bit tricky at the beginning but turns out quite easy at the end once you understand how to make the pentagons.
It’s small, you don’t see the proportions in the image at her tutorial, and I was quite surprised by the result but it’s perfect for an air plant or a really small pot. Please follow all steps here. Now you see my ceramic air plant container floating in there. You can change the proportions too, I guess making the pentagons larger, taking into consideration that it might not support too much weight.
Have you been making any hanging planters already with all this macramé trend going on? Do you hang your plants?

Me encanta, Gudy, super fino y sencillo. ¿Dónde se puede comprar el tubo de latón? xoxo Laura.
Hola y gracias, Laura, en el servicio estación lo he encontrado.xx
It looks super stylish! Very tempted to try making one for myself…
I’d love to hear how you handled the pentagon thing:-) haha xx
It looks so much fun to make! Haven’t tried any macramé hanger for my plants (most planters are too heavy I think) but I think I should give it a try! Your ceramic bowl mixes so well with the brass and airplant, Gudy!
Oh Gudy! Perfect styling! Surprisingly I am not an airplant kind of girl – well, seeing this I might become one! LOVE THIS!
This is so beautiful Gudy! You are so talented and as always stylish! xx
Oh Gudy I don’t have a crafty bone in my body. I so wish I did! This brass hanger is just gorgeous and looks lovely above the side table. You saw the macramé that I did, it came in a box with simple instructions of how to do it… I love hanging plants indoors and out, wish I could have more! M xx
