This Dutch barn from the XIX century has been bought by interior designer Larissa van Seumeren and her partner, Peter Kool a couple of years ago. Renovation has been kind of challenging but very rewarding too. Today they live in a modern home maintaining a strong link to the original spirit of the place. The rooms are filled with contemporary, eclectic and romantic pieces where colour is king.
I like the sofa/lounge area around the fire place and you?

I love looking at interiors that have a unique stamp of the owners style, it’s so interesting. Is that a little cubby bed in the cupboard? Really cute – my kids would love that! Mel x
I guess it is, the kids room is areal high light, isn’t it? I like the color of it too! What a nice green!
The fireplace is great indeed – I love the little comfy nook next to it. And the bathroom isn’t bad, either… A stunning space, all in all!
After 2 years restoring it-what a challenge…would have loved to see some “before” pics :-)
I could definately live there! I love the modular sofa that surrounds that fireplace. I can imagine the double height windows would bring so much light into the loft also. xD
