Designer and artist Alina Preciado spends her time extensively traveling to places like India, Japan, the Middle East and Spain, hunting all goods for her business, Dar Gitane.
She considers herself eclectic by birth and if this style still had to be described, this would be a perfect example: old and new, industrial and modern, classic and contemporary, personal finds from travels, heritage pieces – all wisely combined in a loft in an 1890s industrial building in Brooklyn, New York of 2000 square feet with one bedroom and one bathroom.
It almost looks like an extension or showroom of her business and a dream of anybody who wants to work and live in the same space without getting stressed about the right separation.
And if you love lofts, you should see this one in Barcelona!

This is so beautiful, everything looks so beautifully styled in place. Love the industrial windows. I have always dreamed of living in a New York loft. Have a lovely weekend Gudy x
Me too, the windows, the space and NY is what I liked most here. And Tina’s comment:-)

¡Feliz finde igualmente!
Cool place. Needs a bit more colour, but definitely cool!
Your comment has made me smile! :-)
Have seen this apartment before and absolutely love it too Gudy! Would so love a studio with windows like that! Happy Weekend :-) x
How NICE! So many things I love in one space… The hanging chair/hammock, the pile of wood that forms part of the wall, the gallery wall, the wooden floor in the bathroom – and that “bedroom box”, of course.
