I am back from Copenhagen and a very intense and positive weekend at The Hive and Bodie and Fou’s styling competition. Meanwhile I am organizing and editing pictures, I wanted to share with you some pictures of the flower crown workshop I attended with my fellow blogger friend Elena a few days ago given by Elsa Yranzo at the Somewhere café.

I have been wanting to do a flower styling course for quite some time now. Honestly, it is more difficult than I thought and you really need to be patient. I absolutely want to try it again and practice a bit more. I first prepared all material and then added the little bunches piece by piece to the prepared wire crown (see pic above).
I loved the one Elsa did for herself with flowers just on the right side. Depending on the colours and flower type you choose, they look all so different. Isn’t that one pretty?
This is Elena‘s crown with a more wild flowers look&feel, at the beautiful pic below you can see her helping me with fitting mine.

If you are in Barcelona, make sure you spend some time crafting flower crowns with Elsa, she is a super stylish and talented lady, I promise you will love it! You’ll find her on The Hobby Maker.

That looks like fun! I can imagine that it’s not very easy, but your results look great. Did you actually wear the flower crown, though? So far it’s definitely a trend in fashion photography and styling, but I’d love to see more people actually wear them on the street!
We just put the crown on for the group pic (I still haven’t seen, there was an official photographer) and I have it now hanging to dry in a dark room. But yes, I’d love to have a smaller one for a summer dinner.
Hi Gudy, what a nice idea and I love the first picture. It seems to be a lovely place with all the flowers.
It is a café where they organize all kind of workshops but just seemed to be perfect for this one with the rustic table and the kind of lighting…
What a lovely thing to do Gudy! They look just gorgeous! xx
Oh that looks like such a rewarding thing to do. Love how you’re doing all of these workshops Gudy, so good for the soul. xx
Ah, love to make a flower crown. Beautiful!
What a great workshop to be part of Gudy! I can imagine that it would be difficult but the crowns just look lovely! I’d love to go to something like that one day also. xD
