What’s better than to hello you with a dazzling and memory-making holiday table setting that’ll be the talk of the holiday?
No matter what’s on the Christmas menu, any holiday table deserves a special touch, so let’s get inspired on how-to create an understated yet magical table!
DIY Christmas Table Setting Ideas
I really love when the hands-on holiday is made easy. Use oversized paperclips to hold your cutlery and napkins in place.
This beautiful linen, canyon rose napkins adds warmth and depth to your holiday table in an instant – a brighter version of the Millenium Pink, the Baby Doll tablecloth would make a gorgeous vignette if pairing with lilac for New Year’s Eve table setting too.
With this bright and feminine table setting, I wanted to juxtapose the burgundy, blush pink and white plates against more masculine details and added the black cutlery which gave contrast and balanced the complete look.
Add a handful of lilac, glass and silver Christmas ornaments adds interest and intrigue to your holiday spread.
A centrepiece on the table creates a feeling of height which can really bring your table setting to life. Make a statement with a hanging decoration!
So, let’s talk about the trumpet! Such an easy idea and can be done within minutes. Cut a small piece of florist oasis. If using fresh cur flowers soap the oasis in water and place it in the trumpet and let the fun begin.
Use dried flowers, evergreen or fresh cut flowers either way, with this idea you’re sure to create a striking and unexpected element to your holiday table. Once your trumpet is in full bloom, attach it to the ceiling with wire and two hooks, so uber-easy right?
Use vintage brass candlesticks to achieve that effortless Scandinavian look with a commitment to simplicity. There are endless opportunities to personalize this festive table.
Into the more traditional holiday table? Make an impact with single-coloured hanging arrangement with carnations and roses in the trumpet and add delicate red details.
At the end complete your look with smaller items and no Christmas table setting goes without string lights! Whip up an even more magical table in an instant by adding fairy lights.
So, please tell us in the comments below, will you be adding modern vibes for this coming Christmas celebration?
