Cecilie Manz Designer of the Year 2018 Maison&Objet

Meanwhile I am lecturing today at the imm Cologne and won’t visit the Maison&Objet this year, I still wanted to give you an update of the Designer Of The Year 2018 who has been chosen by the fair.

You might know Danish designer Cecilie Manz if you have been looking for a stylish bluetooth speaker lately, her A1 or P2 (below) designs for Bang&Olufsen are outstanding. She belongs to a generation mastering a warm minimalism with a serene beauty reflected in her designs.

Maison&Objet is honoring the designer due to her versatility and color approach through carefully chosen color palettes that are defined at the first stage of her design processes as a way to define the product’s identity.
