Ceramics pick of the month – Nathalie Weinberger

I really wish I could make a book from all the stunning work I have on my Pinterest board. Without quite realizing it has become the board with most pics and I’d say a 60-70% of the boards I follow cover the same topic.

Nathalie Weinberger has been standing out lately due to both her nice ceramics work and photography & styling skills she features on her site. She is a native New Yorker who started throwing on the wheel in 2010.

As a teenager she took glassblowing lessons, went on experimenting with glass and discovered five years ago a ceramics course. Today she is a potter full time. She says that having studied historic preservation has given her an understanding of the past and many pieces reference to former periods. And the clay she uses has somehow a stone-like appearance. I like her work. Do you? G, x
