Please meet French label Colonel

April 5, 2013

Isabelle Gilles and Yann Poncelet are the founders and designers behind the new French label Colonel. Their first collection is all inspired in outdoor furniture with a fresh and summery spirit.

Their shop is located in Paris, 14 avenue Richerand (10ème arrondissement) where you will find a combination of their own collections, classic vintage pieces and some products from Hay (please check out this video in case you missed it). Truly a great mix.

Interested in traditional craftsmanship, Colonel decides to launch a new design furniture and products company while working in parallel on interiors. These items are then produced in small series, allowing them to easily make their drawings evolve in collaboration with various French craftsmen.

The whole collection just makes me smile and reminds me of juicy cocktails with a little paper parasol!

Wishing you a happy and colorful weekend!
