If you are a regular reader, you know by now, we have a soft spot for Italian design and lifestyle! After having been writing recently about the terrazzo trend, it was only logical to feature this colorful apartment located in Turin. The project by Andrea Marcante and Adelaide Testa started with the challenging task of defining a new style and identity within 160 smq encountering a rather soulless interior in contrast to an impressive 19th-century outer facade.

When you see the color scheme, you immediately think of Italian design and we are particularly fond of the kitchen division with a two-story volume embracing a work of architecture inside architecture. The metal frames extend to create new visual trajectories, and separate the space for entertaining, cooking and dining , without physical barriers that would reduce the space, and the light.
