Covering material trends in graphic design: Kristina Krogh

I am smitten by these graphic designs. In fact, I am still thinking of which to order, they are all so beautiful it is going to be a difficult decision. Whenever that happens, I use to leave the site, come back a few days later, browse again and go for the one I still find very special. No compulsive shopping anymore (has to do with aging:-)

Kristina Krogh is a Danish graphic designer based in Copenhagen. The two works above belong to her illustration series. Her limited editions are restricted to 50 pieces, all numbered and signed.

She mixes shapes, colours and different textures and is obviously very interested in material trends since she covers them all: marble, wood, cork, stone. To make it perfect concrete would be missing but I guess that would look absolutely uninteresting with her designs.

Kristina works as well on visual identities, typography and digital design. You can see her work here.
