Hi dear Eclectic Trends readers! Mette from monsterscircus here with another project, you lovelies. So, how are you? As autumn arrives in the northern hemisphere, it’s perfect to focus more on the inside decorations. The summer’s plant trend is still rumbling and creating green surroundings at home is a perfect excuse for you to make some green extravaganza for your space.
So let’s do it!
Supplies:
Vases
Jewelry wire 0,5 mm or nylon thread
Scissors
All kinds of beads (crystal, wood) & sea urchins
Step 1.
Cut a long piece of wire.
Step 2.
Thread the wire with beads – placed at different distances.
Use multi-colored or crystal beads for a lively look and remember to add those charming sea urchins.
Step 3.
Wrap the wire around the vase and make a knot at the top of the vase – and that’s it!
Acquire or gather a collection of the hanging vases and hang them at various heights.
The idea of the hanging vases goes way back, but I love this new refreshing & embellished look – and for me floating objects are real eye treats, what do you think?
Rather than getting the usual bunch of flowers for friends, instead you could give an embellished colour-personalized vase and add sprigs from the garden or cuttings from your favorite houseplant. If you’re going to throw a small gathering your guest would love to enjoy these botanical discoveries above the dining table.
This project is almost too simple, but there’s so many variations possible, and best of all, it’s budget friendly.
So what do you think? You’ve already tried to add a little height to your space with hanging vases? I’ve placed these hanging vases in our entrance and I must say they are certainly conversations starters!
Stunning when hung in multiples or enjoy just one in a special spot.
Thank you so much for reading, looking forward to see you next month and remember: It only needs something small to look great!
