Earthly Deligths: UNRAVELING. The January Issue

A brief intro for you who stumble upon this series for the first time: Sandy from Confiture de Vivre and myself started publishing Earthly Delights beginning summer playing around with what we are best at with one common theme we decide on together and two interpretations. This time we decided to feature ‘Unraveling’, since we both have read and worked through Susannah Conway’s workbook with the same title at the end of last year.

Sandy: Unraveling means to me putting my ideas in order, set objectives, define a structure and dare a brand new start as if it was a blank canvas. It is structure and a planned schedule that helps unravel my thoughts and pipe dreams.

In a similar way, you do homemade cream cheese. There is a necessary procedure and planning at the beginning, you have to stick to the recipe. First milk becomes yoghurt and then time is needed to get as a result white fresh cream cheese.

Gudy: Unraveling means to me getting a lot of thinking on paper, structuring, doodling, making plans and at the end breaking it down to a few things I can accomplish and feel good with. So this is somehow my brain you see on the images during the process, getting creative and all unraveled!
