‘It’s a moody day’ – Instagram challenge #1

I just kick started last Wednesday a new IG competition which will be an ongoing series with the tag #itsamoodyday’. Thank you so much for creating many beautiful pictures the first day, a few were not in the timeline anymore (before midnight-GMT), I am really sorry but I hope you will be able to join in again. Thanks too to some good friends who participated and did a wonderful shout out.

It’s been a tough decision here but please find the winner and image by @jumblebrigitte. I love the colours, light, shadows and composition. Congratulations, please send me your address, so I can send a little prize over.

I have not been able to pick just two but also loved these four moody images:

From top left to bottom right: @emilyquinton | @vanessabirleyflorals | @aquietstyle | @livingabstracts Thank you all!

I hope you’ll be able to join in again this Wednesday, so much looking forward to it!

PD: If you read this post for the first time, It’s a moody day is my Wednesday styling challenge on Instagram. If you’d like to join in, all you need to do is upload a moody image of your choice that same day with the hashtag #itsamoodyday and tag me @gudyherder.  My favourite is shared each week on the blog together with 4 favourites.

How about some extra inspiration?

  1. Wonderful images – I didn’t know about the challenge, would love to join the party next time! Have a great week, Gudy!

  2. Amazing moody moments! Like Judith state, moody is also so much out of my comfort zone – but like they say practice makes perfect so I will join the challenge again:-) Big hug!

Mood Board Creation: Learn How To Effectively Communicate

Online Courses - English

You’ll find now a very complete starter program, which comes subtitled in eight languages. You will learn:

  • why haptic moodboarding becomes more relevant and effective in 2022
  • how to create a balanced board that not only looks good but works as a memorable communication tool
  • that I do not start a mood board with the creative hands-on process but with a thinking process and a formula
  • how I used that specific formula in a business project, which I share with you
