I am working for a client these days specialized in fabric and wallpaper and stumbled on Jessica Zoob‘s catalog and real fabrics. I have to say, I haven’t seen anything similar so far on the market. I am already thinking of bringing again some paper on the wall…well, as soon as we find our new place. Meanwhile, I’d like to share with you this amazing collection and hear if you agree with me.
Black Edition by Romo offers exclusively designed collections and this time they have teamed up with Jessica Zoob. Jessica’s emotionally charged paintings (see the video below and learn the stories and thoughts behind her collections) have been translated beautifully onto fabrics, wallcoverings and cushions in fine linens and exquisite velvets. I have seen the linen and it’s really dreamy.
Have a peak at the interview with artist Jessica Zoob and design director Emily Mould from ROMO Black Edition. I find it very interesting when she describes how the collections came to life and it’s wonderful to see the original artwork and compare.
If you happen to live in Barcelona, you’ll find this collection at La Maison Barcelona.

Hi Gudy, I already know Jessica’s work and I love her paintings. I think a collaborating with Romo is really perfect. The company produces wonderful fabrics. I once used a beautiful Romo fabric for an old chaise lounge. It looked great!
I didn’t know any of them! Thanks for stopping by, Angela.
Hey Gudy, I adore it already – so beautiful. Hope you’re well sweetness, and enjoying the Summer – hugs Axxx
That was telepathic, wanted to poop over and say hello too. Sending you a big hug!
Hi Gudy,
I love it all! It’s simply beautiful.
Hug from me!
Hi Gudy, I love Jessica’s work, we have 4 of her paintings scattered around our house, she lives quite near Brighton, and opens her house as part of an arts festival, and I daren’t go anymore because I can’t resist her work! However perhaps I can now buy much less costly fabric instead, it looks equally as stunning. I am so pleased you introduced it to us. Emma x
I can’t believe you are having 4 of her paintings! I would love to see them! They would look great on your IG feed, I guess ;-) x
Funnily enough I nearly posted one on ig the other day for #myweekofpink, if I do I will let you know :)
Gudy, you and I share a love for Jessica’s work, I love her new wallpaper range. The moment I saw it, I loved it. You are so right that there is nothing like it on the market at the moment xx
It seems I was the only one who didn’t know her until know…she is probably very well known on the local market, who wonders? Lovely work! I am really thinking of getting her wallpaper! x
