We live in a moment of overwhelming information coming from an unprecedented number of sources and platforms.

A well-structured Trend Lecture joins the dots and allows you to see ahead.

Our 45 min. sessions are designed to inspire, educate, give food for thought and enable your teams to take strategic decisions.

After months of semi-liberty, we’ve come to terms with the fact that taking care of our self includes more than celebrating mindful practices.

The meaning of care has expanded in 2020 inside and outside our homes. We have become self-taught experts in wellbeing and self-care thanks to newfound daily routines.

The use and relevance of rooms in our homes has shifted, open plans are closing up again in search of some privacy. The comfort we feel inside our homes is a feeling we do not want to compromise when stepping outside.

Going analog and living with smart technologies with higher degrees of autonomy will be the next breakthrough in finding balance.

But what does ‘care’ mean for end consumers now, and how can any brand react?

In this session, Gudy will unpack four characteristics of the emerging Care Economy and equip you with keys to better understand and engage with clients who are not interested in mere transaction-based communication anymore.

“Care consists of everything that we do to maintain, continue, and repair our ‘world’ so that we can live in it as well as possible. That world includes our bodies, ourselves, our environment, all of which we seek to interweave in a complex, life-sustaining web.” – Joan C. Tronto – Author of Caring Democracy

The Decade of
the home

People’s refocus on their local surroundings in light of the COVID-19 pandemic will be longer than initially planned.
Socializing and working takes place from home, shopping is reduced to closer neighborhood stores or online, traveling is on-hold. The time and money we spent from within our home will influence the rise of  the Homebody Economy.

Home is the new frontier.
And though our time will be partly combined with out-of-home activities, we thrive to improve our safe sanctuary by combining analog with digital experiences.

Our dwelling is turning into a hybrid entity, uniting private life, and work. The idea of coming home to disconnect after work is shifting.

Consequently, the idea of an open floor plan living, popular in recent years, closes again in need of privacy and individual shelters.

In this session, you will learn how the home requires a different take on flexibility, technology, and spatial planning, where human-centered design plays a more relevant role than ever.

What do we need to know when we consider Health, Urbanization, and Sustainability to be driving forces in innovation?

Once self-sufficient, these three Macro Trends are intrinsically intertwined today with answering consumer needs and invite to be examined as a collective.

We see an increasing holistic health approach in city planning.
Urban Agriculture grows, and so does the idea of community care.
Residential buildings become green autonomous clusters.
The comfort of our homes needs to be taken to public spaces.
Boundaries between industries are increasingly blurring with the main leitmotiv of ‘People First.’

This 45 min. lecture gives you a comprehensive view of three Macro Trends and their impact on our lives inside and outside our homes.
