My January Moodboard

Hello friends! How are you? I hope you had a great kick off this year! I have spent a lot of time with friends these days and are truly grateful for it. I missed hanging with them, just having fun and eat a lot.

Since everybody talks about lists and proposals for the new year these days, let me just tell you, I am planning to have a very creative year, and I will blog regularly over here but not strictly from Monday-Friday but rather when I feel like I want to share a nice visual story.  And I can’t think of any better than starting the first post with my monthly moodboard.

I am back to dusty images (since December has been very bright) but do concentrate on (lush) flower moods this month and there is less interior, textiles and outdoor imagery as seen at the past two month. Nick Knight has been the source of inspiration this time, I have always admired his flower shots. I can never tell where I draw a mood or inspiration from, it is nothing I plan, it just comes naturally, and this is probably what I love most about this series.

How about some extra inspiration?

  1. Happy New Year Gudy! Oh what another inspiring moodboard! So nice to read that you enjoyed yourself with your friends, nothing better. Being creative is a great goal for the year, and I look forward to seeing all of your accomplishments. All the very best for 2014. Mel xx

    1. Thank you, Mel, for all the supporting comments and love all these month! May the new year bring you all you can wish for! xx

  2. Hi Gudy,

thank you so much again for all the inspiration at the Hive. Going through your moodboards now again, I feel energized. Love this one, beautiful but also rather punchy in a good way.
