Our visit at House Doctor’s ShowLab in Denmark

I have been a lucky girl with my first business trip after the summer break taking me straight to Denmark after the vacation. We have been visiting with sweet Mette from Monsterscircus the House Doctor‘s showroom called the ShowLab. It’s been a wonderful visit in varies senses because I have met Mette for the first time in real life. After a year and a half with a very regular online contact and enjoying her most creative monthly DIY projects over at Eclectic Trends, we finally made it and joined spirit and motivation to see House Doctor together sharing some creative ideas.

Today I wanted to show you that amazing space in Ikast (Denmark) where they display now their Moments (Christmas 2014) and Everyday Collections 2014.

I was happy to see that House Doctor goes for brass now instead of sticking to copper and follow the trend. There is still some copper in the collection but the focus as a novelty is now on the yellow gold finishing. Bravo!

You could easily dress and decorate your entire home with their collections; small furniture and accessories fit all so nicely together and every single corner is really eye-candy being it textiles, glass, ceramics, wood or even their jewellery collection. With more than 3000 pieces it’s hard to tell what you like best.

The Moments Collection will be super successful, it is less romantic, let’s say more graphical and minimalistic. Those postcards are one of my highlights. Love the right one, planets are really trending now. (You should see the organic planet mobile Mette has made for me! Big love!!)

I know, it felt a bit weird just coming back from my summer holidays but I know Christmas is just around the corner for many retailers. Happy September, Louise.
