Chinese retails are undoubtedly the most striking and status quo challenging spaces within the industry today. The Neobio Family Park, designed by X+Living, is located in Hangzhou, one of the trendiest and most popular shopping and leisure areas in the Binjiang District.
And speaking trends, there are many projects on the market now where playfulness is the key issue behind the initial and final process as a trigger for adults, children, parents and children specifically, geeks and fashionistas.
Before the construction, the developer removed all the structure present on this floor and permitted the designers to make use of the entire atrium space. This decision allowed the design office to reformulate the entire floor and create a space that integrates entertainment and education activities.
According with Chief Designer Li Xiang, for the interior design, X+Living focused on coordinated integration of a certain color palette and shapes composition and not a specific style interpretation. The studio drew inspiration from both abstract scenario modes as well as the natural views of the riverside location of the project.
A playful, “Alice in Wonderland” atmosphere defines the whole experience. The Hangzhou Neobio Family Park, divided into four main areas, combines functions for entertainment, education and rest during parent-child activities. Such division took into account age groups, interests and behaviors of kids.
