This year our home is under complete renovation. The bath room is already new (still looking for the right fit on wall treatments. Wallpaper? Paint? Any suggestions?), we have a new pink velvet sofa and pink walls in our living and this is just the start. I plan to redecorate the entire room, our kitchen will be redone entirely this summer, we had several water leaks (in different rooms) and showering is currently only possible with cold water. The worst leak is between the bath and bedroom and we kind of camp now in a different area of the apartment. Needless to say, my current focus is more on scheduling workers coming in and out than producing planned online products or trend courses (did I already mention the heat wave during June?).
One of the (many) outstanding issues in our home is the right rug for autumn/winter. You see, when you have tessellated tiles, this gets a bit tricky. A monochromatic rug would be perfect but I can’t quite get out of my head a few beautiful pattern proposals spotted during the Milan Design Week.
And then I stumbled yesterday on Mae Engelgeer‘s work for CC Tapis. If I could just wish for a rug to directly fly into my abode, no.4 would be my choice!

It says, ‘proudly hand knotted in Nepal’, which is just the best marketing trigger for me! Ok, on my wish list! And now, let’s see where to find the round marble table I want for our living room:)
You can see and watch Mae explaining her design process for CC Tapis HERE (and it proofs once again how powerful it is to be on social media ).
