We have seen quite some molded cement proposals for the past two years in the homewares world, but if you ask me… this is a pretty different approach by Studio Twocan combining marbled textures with a certain ceramics finishing look.
By using sometimes intense pigments, each piece individually handcrafted is given a unique layered pattern and the hues are inspired by the Australian landscape. Studio Twocan is a creative studio, driven by sisters, Maddie and Becc Sharrock.
It opens my heart when I read about the creative and production process. Each piece is polished with natural oils, sealing the cement with a satin finish. This process celebrates imperfections and ensures that each piece is unique. Wonderful, that just matches my very own philosophy of one-of-a-kind pieces! You can buy their products here. G, x
