Total look in green blue marble at Céline Miami

Eclectic Trends | Total Look Green Blue Marble At Céline's Store in Miami

Swiss design practice Valerio Oligiati has been responsible for Céline‘s flagship store in Miami and its total look in green blue marble. The concept is divided in two storeys, with a second floor displaying shoes and ready-to-wear items and street level serving as an exhibition space true to the retail trend of non-standard corporate designs and experimentation and changing retail spaces.

We have been observing all kinds of marble coloration and vein patterns throughout the last 6 years in interior design. After a long period of white and black marble, slowly brown, green and pink marble variations have been kicking in.

But how about sky blue?

The facades, floors, walls, and ceilings are entirely designed with the stone pinta verde, a marble coming from Brazil which shows a very crystalline white bottom combined with light green blue traces. The sophisticated and cold appearance gets softened by weathered wooden looks on staircases, pillars and furniture.
