You all know by now how much I love Italian Design. This is with no doubt one of the most beautiful editorial shots I have ever seen. And it is no surprise that the photographer behind this production has been none other than Lorenzo Pennati. Let’s call this shot the Urban Jungle Trend the Italian Way.
Styling: Cristina Nava | Photography: Lorenzo Pennati
Marie Claire Maison has featured this Gardening Style issue in April 2015. The color palette is dreamy, a bit powdery with a nod to the jungle trend in olive tones, muted blues and teal, and a gorgeous range of greens.
On a personal note, it’s this kind of interior design shooting which I believe is mind-blowing. The model fits a 100% in the entire story, adds even a bit of drama and glam, and everything just matches perfectly in this scenery. How perfect is his ginger hair? He looks like coming out of a painting which is precisely a signature of Pennati. G, x

I do agree with you. I absolutely adore the shot of the table top. The compositions of the pictures remind me of the old masters paintings.
Exactly, I was thinking all the time, ‘what do this remind me of’? You are nailing it! Thanks:)
Those guys definitely knew a few thing about composition. I love your blog too ;-)
Without a doubt a all time favorite!!!! Every single aspect of this story is perfect!!!
Couldn’t agree more!
Absolutely impeccable. It’s almost like a painting. A stylists work of art!
