Welcome to our new creative home

Welcome to our new creative home

August 27, 2025

Our new creative home is a place where conversations grow roots, research becomes shared discovery, and interactive sessions turn into transformative play.

This is more than a new website.

It marks Eclectic Trends’ digital transformation this summer and a vision I’m pouring into the years ahead.

THE VISION

Less abstract trend information hard to apply and translate. More interactive sessions with participants from all possible creative industries.

More guidance on building trends teams, trend departments, and a true and respected trend culture within companies.

eclectic trends has a new creative home aka website

Let me present (for the first time actually) in a post what we do.

1//TREND COACHING

Welcome to our trend coaching service

What if trends stopped being siloed reports — and became a shared culture across your company?

Through Trend Culture Coaching, we guide your team to design the trend infrastructure within your company. This isn’t just about identifying trends. It’s about embedding them into your organization’s DNA.

WHY IT MATTERS:

We empower  teams to move beyond observation, fostering a culture where trends are not only recognized but actively integrated into your strategies and processes. So the trend department becomes a trusted voice in every major creative decision.

2// TREND CONSULTING

WELCOME TO OUR TREND CONSULTING SERVICE

“What if we paused to ask ourselves… how do we truly want to live?”

We help create an understanding of how a trend works — where it comes from, and its anatomy. This foundation is key: it allows you to grasp the trend directions we present and, crucially, know how to apply them.

We work with

1// Macro trends such as

  • Urbanization  – what happens in spaces we live in or spend time in
  • Wellbeing – as a holistic movement
  • Neo Ecology – embracing Nature and Sustainability

2// All macro trends come with different micro trends and can be tailored towards our clients’ briefings.

3// CMF trends

These are the ‘aesthetic’ translation of micro trends and cover color, material, and finish directions.

WHY IT MATTERS:

Because a trend that isn’t translated into action remains just insight. Will all trends we present be applied? Not always. But we make sure as many as possible are.

3// TREND TALKS

Welcome to our site on trend talks with Gudy Herder

What if a trend talk, in a world full of presentations still captures attention and leaves a lasting impact?

We know this is rare.

Gudy Herder delivers Trend Talks that transform insights into engaging experiences at trade shows and B2B events, and she also mentors teams on how to deliver their own impactful trend presentations.

WHY IT MATTERS:

Because a talk isn’t just a presentation — it’s an opportunity to connect, inspire, and spark thought-provoking insights. In a world where AI increasingly automates ideas and erodes independent thinking, fostering human curiosity, critical analysis, and creative reflection is more essential than ever.

4//NEO MATERIALITY

Welcome to our new site on Neo Materiality

What if materials could tell a story — not just about aesthetics, but about values, sustainability, and innovation?

Through Neo Materiality, we offer a curated selection of 1,000+ innovative, sustainable materials — from nutshell composites and mycelium fibers to vegan leathers and 3D-printed samples.

Teams can explore and experiment with these materials in immersive materioteca sessions in Barcelona (November 2025 in English and Spanish) or via in-house consulting, discovering the future of material innovation.

WHY IT MATTERS:

With so much material innovation happening, it’s easy to get lost in options. We’ve done the research, curated the most relevant and forward-thinking materials, and offer on-point consulting to help teams make informed choices.
