What do bloggers collect? The March Issue

For all of you who are reading this series for the first time, it all started in April when I posted a pic of my some of my porcelain mugs on Instagram asking what my followers or other IG users were collecting. Since there were quite some responses, I decided to start this series inviting friends, and I do love the result of getting a sneak peek into my virtual (and real) friend passions and hobbies. Some images are a total surprise others not. All of them are beautiful!  This time I am having friends over from Germany, Spain and The Netherlands.

Hello, my name is Wendy. Author of the blog beeldSTEIL, a lifestyle, photography and interior design blog with a Scandinavian touch. beeldSTEIL can be translated as picture style. In other words: photography and styling, that’s what my blog is mainly about. “I share what I see” on my blog and my Instagram feed. Instagram is my visual notebook where I share daily inspiration and a peek behind the scenes. Apart from being a blogger, I’m a photographer, interior & photo stylist and mother of two.

As a stylist and design addict I love to collect! Such as small Scandinavian home accessories, vintage cameras, fine notebooks, wooden sculptures, magazines and much more.. But my current crushes are ceramics and pottery. I love seemingly simple designs with beautiful (graphic) details. While traveling I can’t resist to take a ceramic reminder with me back home. The bowls, vases and plates are also perfect to use as props in my photographs. I collect my treasures in the String Pocket cabinet in my living room. Looking at it makes me happy, love the aesthetic look.

Thank you Gudy for having me on your lovely blog!

Thanks so much, Gudy, for asking me to share what I collect! I’m Toni from Berlin, Germany, one of the Co-Founders of Carry-On Publishing, the publishing house of the digital magazines sisterMAG and CVmag.

I’m not a big collector of things except for my articles collection. For over ten years now I’m collecting and cataloguing newspaper and magazine articles about people. My collection includes a very wide range of personalities coming from Film & Theatre, Design & Architecture, Art, Music, Fashion, Literature, Science or Business. Some of my favourite articles introduce for example the not-so-well-known editors, photographers and illustrators that shaped the famous magazine titles of the past. My collection was also at the heart of the idea for our second magazine title CVmag, which is about people from all walks of life.

There are so many articles now that I have to expand my existing folders soon to hold the new ones.

I’m Noelia and I am the person behind the blog | Harmony and Design | , in my blog I share all the nice stuff I find related to my passions, architecture, design and art . The blog was born as an outlet for all my “brainstorming”, through beautiful images that inspire me, make me feel passionate and alive.

Today I share with you one of my most prized collections, my collection of notebooks and pencils. I’ve put a few examples, since the amount is very large and the series of photographs would be endless. Whenever I travel or someone you know travels, I always ask them to bring me or a notebook or pencil, simply fascinate me.

WDBC Estilo Escandinavo

Hola! I am Mapi originally Spanish but I have been living in Germany for the past year and a half. At that time I started my blog  estilo escandinavo. I am an interior designer and blogger, and I truly love the nordic and scandinavian style.

Since I am living in Germany I have started collecting candles and candle holders. When starting to live over her, we had few day light, much less than in Spain and I needed some light providing warmth. Through candle lighting the environment feels much more cosy and I’ll add step by step new pieces to my little collection. A million thanks for inviting me Gudy to this special little corner of your blog.

Thank you all for your time and participation! You’ll find previous issues here and a Pinterest board over here too.

How about some extra inspiration?

    1. Me pasa algo parecido, traigo libretas de muchos viajes pero sólo se las veo muy especiales. Las encuentro muy chulas en Italia. Y tu?

  2. My favourite series, after VLD:-))

So nice to see these collections. Particularly love Toni’s as it’s quirky, different and ‘printed matter’.

As for notebooks and pencils, don’t get me started. I could open a shop!!!

So nice to be introduced to bloggers I don’t know.
Thank you everyone for sharing. Happy weekend x

  3. Qué bonitas las libretas de Noe!! Me encantan!!

Hoy he descubierto tu blog y me ha encantado.
    Feliz Fin de Semana

    1. Muchas gracias, pues, bienvenida por aquí! Yo ya hace un tiempo que te descubrí:-) Me encantó el post de los bicis.

  5. What lovely collections. I just find the idea of Toni’s article collection fascinating and very true to the idea of sister mag! M xx

Quedan plazas??? Un beso

Online Courses - English

You’ll find now a very complete starter program, which comes subtitled in eight languages. You will learn:

  • why haptic moodboarding becomes more relevant and effective in 2022
  • how to create a balanced board that not only looks good but works as a memorable communication tool

  • how I used that specific formula in a business project, which I share with you

Ebook Color Trends 2022

The download of the Jotun Ebook and color palettes was a huge hit last year, so we thought to put it again together for our readers to have all 28 hues in one place and be able to work with it at all times.
