We are back from the summer break and this is already the fourth edition with dear fellow bloggers based in Germany and Sweden this time. I really love it when the images are popping in, every email is a true joy!
For all of you who are reading this series for the first time, it all started in April when I posted a pic of my some of my porcelain mugs on Instagram asking what my followers or other IG users were collecting. Since there were quite some responses, I decided to start this series inviting friends and I do love the result of getting a sneak peek into my virtual (and real) friend passions and hobbies. Some images are a total surprise others not. All of them are beautiful!
My name is Emma Fexeus, I run a blog called Emmas Designblogg about interiors and design. I live in Stockholm, Sweden, and I believe this shows on the blog in terms of style, but also because I like to blog about my favorite spots (such as restaurants, shops and cafés) in the Scandinavian countries.
I collect porcelain for my daughter who is just about to turn 4. It all started with her falling for a little plate with a ballerina motif I had bought for myself, and that made me remember some cups I had saved from my own childhood, and how much I still treasure them. So I started buying her more plates, all with prints that I believe can be appreciated by children and adults alike, and am hoping she will still love them as she grows up.
Hello everyone, my name is Elodie Love and on my blog madame love I write about interior design and flowers. I am French, have a British husband and have been living in Germany for almost 9 years now.
I also have a passion for travel and I like to bring a little souvenir with me when I come back. I collect spoons from around the world. They are small and can fit in any suitcase. I use them everyday, and they remind me of the places where I found them.
Hey – my name is Anastasia of Stilzitat and here goes the little story of my blog & collection. In 2011 I launched my vintage online store ‘Stilzitat’ – working online introduced me to completely new spheres. With the background of an art historian and my experience in sales I found myself exploring different areas. All of a sudden I was refining my skills as a stylist, creative director and photographer, browsing sites of my visual soul mates: I was magically drawn into the world of blogging! With my blog & my Instagram I eventually hope to amass a store of beauty that will lead you into my world of passions & obsessions!
I inherited my passion for collecting from my mother and I almost couldn’t decide what collectibles to choose from, so I decided to show one of my recent passions: my love for copper. It all started when I got these antique jewelry templates in Paris & I have been fascinated with copper ever since… Dear Gudy, thank you so much for having me! I love this series and could participate every month…
Thank you Anastasia, Elodie and Emma for having taking time and giving us a little peek of what you love! I have chosen a couple of pictures each this time since there is three of (instead of the usual four) and It’s been difficult to stick just to one image. Other editions can be found in the thumbnails below.

Once again what beautiful collections you came up with. I love the plates from Emma (I have a crush for the decorated ceramics) and the ancient copper jewelry is amazing (in my previous life, before blogging, I was a specialist of Medieval and Renaissance jewelry and this collection just made me jump back to it!). Thank you Gudy for putting together these amazing bloggers’ collections :-) Looking forward next month issue.
Glad you like the series. I am really happy with this monthly column too, you never know what you get, you just feel it is going to be great again.
Eine wunderschöne Ausgabe von “what do bloggers collect?”! Ich freue mich besonders, dass ich etwas neues über mein liebes zweites Flowergirl Elodie erfahren habe :)
♥ Inga
Was denn, du kanntest ihre Löffelsammelleidenschaft nicht? :-) Ich muss jetzt immer an sie denken wenn ich mal wieder einen aussergewöhnlichen entdecke…
3 amazing girls! Great to see them here. I love the pictures of their goodies very much!
Hugs, Sandy
It’s time to get some gentlemen on board too, isn’t it? And yes, agreed! :-)
I always love those posts Gudy – lovely to see what other lovely bloggers collect. HAppy weekend,
Ax
As a former participant and colector, it’s nice to see you pop over. Happy weekend to you too.
Such a lovely series, Gudy! I really love how much these 3 collections mean to the 3 (very talented!) bloggers above. So much more than “just” plates, spoons and copper, but carefully selected items that have little stories attached to them. Merci Emma, Elodie, Anastasia and Gudy!
Exactly, it’s the story that makes us tick! :-)
This is such an interesting series Gudy! It’s such a lovely idea of Emma’s to collect porcelain for her daughter, with Emma’s impeccable taste, she’s one lucky girl. I love Elodie’s take on the souvenir spoon collection, so much more beautiful than I know them to be. Thanks to the introduction to Anastasia, such an interesting vintage copper collection. Have a lovely weekend Gudy. x M
Thank you, Mel. I am happy you like the column! It’s one of my favorite!
What lovely collections. Love that idea of the plate collection for the daughter. such beautiful spoons Elodie collects and anastasia’s wonderful copper collection, so on trend at the moment.
I believe what makes it interesting is the story many times behind…
I love the collection of spoons. so pretty
