Wild Minimalism by Rooms

Wild Minimalism-Rooms-Eclectic Trends

Do you remember the Archaic Simplicity Trend for Autumn/Winter 2017/18 I defined a while ago?

The Georgian ladies duo Rooms presented their carved and burned-wood collection at Spazio Rossana Orlando during the Milan Design Week the past month. If you ask me, this was one was among my Top Ten Finds of this years’ edition.

The brand was created in 2007 by two young Tbilisi-born designers, Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia, who met as students at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts.

The collection consists of 7 individual pieces: Stone drawer console, round staircase table, 2 modular coffee tables, 2 lovers armchairs and a Taurus chair. I would be happy with any of their pieces but if I could choose, a side table would be right up my alley! G, x
