Until viewing this project, we never quite thought about the idea of form replacing color. Advertising agency Fuego Camino Conmigo (translates as fire walk with me) chose to share their office space with Sancal’s showroom in Barcelona. Round shapes in furniture, arches, doors, and staircase sculptures form a dynamic composition where the overall white canvas fits in nicely.
Spatial design is crucial in making creative communities flourish. Coliving and coworking invite people to create meaningful connections and shape vibrant ecosystems in cities.
The project commissioned to Isern Serra notably shows no architectural barriers with an open and interactive workspace. The variety of work environments and small spots, furnished with Sancal products, are arranged in a common area so that the team can choose between different locations. In addition, there are several meeting rooms for more private meetings and a fully equipped kitchen-office for small breaks.
The space invites the viewer to think about independent but connected areas, which allow for common brainstorming and creative work, and also foster individual moments. When a creative agency and a very design-driven furniture company share the same space, sure thing, everybody breathes inspiration 24/7.
